Please note that angle parking along Bound Ave and Elm St. will remain OPEN and available for public use during this time.

🚨Attention Residents🚨: Brown Avenue Park is currently closed due to downed trees and power lines. Please stay out of the park until cleanup can take place.

📢 NOTICE TO BOROUGH RESIDENTS 📢

Beginning Monday, June 15, 2026, Pennsylvania American Water will be canvassing throughout the Borough as part of its ongoing effort to identify homes with unknown water service line materials.

Canvassers will:
✔ Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
✔ Carry Pennsylvania American Water identification badges
✔ Operate vehicles displaying program windshield signs for easy identification

This initiative is part of Pennsylvania American Water's lead service line inventory program and helps ensure accurate records of service line materials throughout the community.

Residents may also self-report their water service line material by completing the survey at the following link:

On May 9, 2026, at 2:18 PM Milton Police, Fire, Public Works, and Code Departments were dispatched to 18 North Arch St. for a reported structural collapse. Upon arrival, responders determined that a sizable segment of the Church bell tower had collapsed into Pine Alley. Residents in the immediate area were evacuated. A detour on SR 0405 is in place, and the area is closed to foot traffic. We are asking that residents stay outside of the cordoned off area. Northumberland County EMA, and PPL are assisting with the incident.

🚨Attention Residents🚨: Due to the passing of the Traffic Ordinance, Borough Crews will be out in the next week to post Park Avenue with new signage. The South side of the street will now be no parking; parking will be allowed on the North side of the street only.
