Pace Water System has issued a precautionary boil water notice until samples are collected and labratory results show that no bacteria is present for the following areas: White Road east of Live Oak Lane to East Spencerfield Road, all of Mayo Circle, Winterdale Drive and Autumndale Drive area.

Therefore, as a precaution, Pace Water System advises that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.

Drivers on Berryhill Road at King George Parkway should expect intermittent lane closures due to contractor damage to a sewer force main in the area. Repairs are anticipated to be complete by the end of the day, weather permitting.

Drivers are asked to seek an alternative route, use caution in the area and expect delays.

Monday, June 22, 11:15 a.m. - Some roadways in Santa Rosa County remain closed due to flooding:
- Deaton Bridge Road, at Deaton Bridge
- Riverwood Road
- Bryant Bridge Road at Bryant Bridge

The following roads have reopened:
- Red Rock Road
- Springhill Road
- Amos Cabaniss Road
- Walling Road
- Gordon Land Road

Remember, turn around, don't drown. Drivers are urged NOT TO DRIVE AROUND BARRICADES; there is no way to tell how deep the water is on a roadway or if the roadway is damaged.

A flash flood warning has been issued until 9:30 p.m. that includes portions of very northeastern Santa Rosa County.

Turn around, don’t drown! Avoid walking or driving through flood waters. There is no way to tell how deep the water is or if the road has been washed out!

Saturday, June 20, 7:40 p.m. - Drivers are urged NOT TO DRIVE AROUND BARRICADES; there is no way to tell how deep the water is on a roadway or if the roadway is damaged. We’re hearing people are doing this and getting stuck…don’t do it. Just don’t.

Several roadways in north Santa Rosa County are currently closed due to flooding, particularly the following areas:
- Springhill Road, at Wagner Bridge over Big Coldwater Creek, just east of Lewis Road
- Red Rock Road, at Red Rock Bridge
- Deaton Bridge Road, at Deaton Bridge
- Amos Cabanis Road
- Bryant Bridge Road
- Riverwood Road

Drivers should use extreme caution throughout the northern end of the county and use alternative routes. Remember, turn around, don't drown.

We’ve had reports of Blackwater River causing flooding in the East Milton area with water over the roadway in areas at the end of North Airport Road.

Chumuckla Highway between Rolling Acres Road and Smyer Drive will experience a lane shift due to a water main break in the area. The northbound lane will be shifted to the center lane, and the turn lane into the Santa Rosa County Sportsplex will be temporarily closed while repairs are being made.
