• 10 people die everyday from accidental drowning?
• 64% of African American youth cannot swim?
The Sigma Gamma Rho, Inc. - Gamma Pi Sigma Alumnae Chapter, Milwaukee, WI wants to increase swim participation and decrease drowning rates in the community.
We are holding a free basic water safety clinic at the RUSD Aquatic Center on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 12pm - 2pm. so our children don’t become apart of the drowning statistics in Wisconsin.

SORORS…Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. just announced the hiring of our new Executive Director, the beautiful, talented and oh so amazing Karen Williams. This announcement has significant ties to WI because Soror Williams hails from Milwaukee, WI. She was inducted into our wonderful sisterhood September 12, 1992 through Epsilon Xi Chapter, UW-Madison. Madame Executive Director Williams has been serving Sigma Gamma Rho faithfully and consecutively financial for 30 years in many national, regional and local capacities! I am truly excited and proud of the direction we are headed for with Soror Williams as our ED…you get to witness GREATER up close and personal! Congratulations Soror Karen Williams…her tenure begins February 15th! 💙💛🐩
