Meet SPC Hannah (12W) and PVT Hurtado (12W) of the 996th Engineer Company in Milwaukee, WI.
- SPC Hannah comes from a military family and currently goes to the Milwaukee School of Art and Design to pursue her artist endeavors.
- PVT Hurtado felt the call to join the US Army Reserve leading her family as the first female to join. And will soon pursue her collegiate dreams by enrolling at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee!
Both Soldiers enjoy their 12W MOS and regard each other as Battle buddy’s.
12W: Army Carpentry and Masonry Specialists. That deals with general construction, that specializes in heavy carpentry and masonry projects.

SFC Robinson from 8th BN, ARCG participated in the Leader Solarium at AUSA this past week. AUSA Leader Solarium that provided a forum for 120 leaders that included Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard and DA civilians. Collectively leaders across the force was able to give feed back to Gen. James McConville and Sgt. Maj. of the Army Michael Grinston on opportunities and challenges facing the Total Army. The event occurred on Oct. 13, 2022, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C.

An Evening to Salute the Heroes of Wisconsin.
Join us for a patriotic celebration that will honor a service member from each branch of service and a family of the fallen. WTMJ host of Wisconsin's Morning News, Vince Vitrano, will be the master of ceremonies for the night. The keynote speaker is Mark Vandroff, Chief Executive Officer of Fincantieri Marinette Marine, and retired as a Captain in the US Navy.
This is USO Wisconsin's largest fundraiser of year. The proceeds from the event will ensure that USO Wisconsin will continue to be able to provide vital centers and programs for currently serving military and their families.
