The Milwaukee Police Department could not function without the tireless work of its clerks and other civilian staff members. We sat down with one of the departments longest serving members to hear her thoughts on her experiences and what she has planned next.
Please join us for District Five's monthly Crime and Safety Meeting. It will take place on Wednesday, February 1st, at 5:30 PM and will be held at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church. (1345 W Burleigh St)

This very vocal ball of energy took officers on a foot chase in the 2900-blocks of N 20th St to N 23rd St this evening before being taken into custody for fleeing and eluding. If anyone recognizes this dog, she was booked in at MADACC after receiving a few treats.

Hello Everyone,
The City of Milwaukee has kicked off a Safe Routes to Transit project along W. Burleigh Street, from N. Sherman Boulevard to N. 20th Street. W. Burleigh Street is both a major transit corridor and one of the most dangerous streets for people to walk on in the City of Milwaukee. This project will focus on making it safer, easier, and more comfortable to walk and take the bus along the corridor.
Please join in during the zoom meeting for additional information on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 10:00a.m.

WATCH: District Five Crime and Safety Meeting (1/4/2023)
Milwaukee Police District 5 and District 2 had the honor of working with the Cops and Kids Foundation to bring children from our respective Districts together for free bowling and pizza. It was an amazing event filled with lots of high fives, laughter, and smiles.
Today officers from District 5 were able to volunteer with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin to hand out almost 200 meals to those in need. We were joined by MFD, Safe and Sound, WestCare, and Alderman Stamper. We packed all the food in the bags and those receiving the food were able to drive right up and have it all loaded in for them! In a time where grocery prices are on a constant rise it is important to help those who need it. And a big thank you to The Q restaurant for providing their parking lot for the event!
Thank you Hope Street Ministry for inviting us to join the fun!
Captain Grant and District Five officers had a blast at COA Youth & Family Centers for “Cookie with a Cop”.
Everyone was filled with the holiday spirit as well as lots and lots of energy!
If anyone is missing this little puppy, it is now safe and warm and will be at MADACC. If you recognize this dog and know the family please let them know their dog is safe.
