National Leadership Academy 🇺🇸
This past week, the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office had the honor of sending Cadet Captain L. Krajewski to the Public Safety Cadets National Leadership Academy in Fairfax County, Virginia.
The selection process was highly competitive, with only 36 cadets from across the country selected to attend. Adding to this accomplishment, Cadet Captain Krajewski was selected to serve as the Deputy Commander of the 2026 class, taking on additional leadership responsibilities and helping lead his fellow cadets throughout the academy.
During the week, cadets traveled throughout the Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia area, visiting historic sites and participating in leadership activities, law enforcement demonstrations with the Fairfax County Police Department, and a visit to a DEA training facility in Quantico. The class also had the opportunity to visit the United States Capitol and learn firsthand from professionals across the public safety field.
Beyond the training and leadership opportunities, the academy created countless memories and lifelong bonds with cadets from across the country. From traveling together and exploring the D.C. area to working through leadership challenges as a team, the friendships and connections made throughout the week will continue well beyond the academy.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office is incredibly proud of Cadet Captain Krajewski for representing our agency and Wisconsin with professionalism and dedication.
A special thank you to the Public Safety Cadets, Fairfax County Police Department, DEA, academy staff, instructors, mentors, and everyone who made this experience possible.
Congratulations, Cadet Captain Krajewski, on an outstanding achievement and for serving as Deputy Commander of the 2026 National Leadership Academy class! 🇺🇸💙
