The 157th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade Headquarters Company Army strategic transformation initiatives.
The 157th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade provides a versatile, flexible combat force that can be tailored to a wide spectrum of military combat and support missions, and it can provide specialized forces to support brigade combat teams and other combat units. The unit, formerly the 57th Field Artillery Brigade and the 264th Engineer Group, began transformation into a maneuver enhancement brigade. Th
is type of brigade is relatively new to the Army; its concepts and doctrines are being refined as part of U.S. The 157th includes units specialized in communications networking, chemical detection and decontamination, and forward support, as well as High Mobility Artillery Rocket System firing batteries and combat engineers. The 157th is headquartered in Milwaukee, and has an assigned strength of more than 2,100 Soldiers. The 157th MEB largely is made up of units that were formerly part of the 57th Field Artillery Brigade and the 264th Engineer Group.

The Illinois Army National Guard’s 404th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade (MEB) transferred responsibility of the Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) headquarters staff mission to the Wisconsin Army National Guard’s 157th MEB on Nov. 5, 2022, at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti.
Please join us today in honoring and recognizing our deployed Soldiers, to include Soldiers from units throughout the state who joined the team for this mission, and the families who are holding down the homefront in their loved one’s absence. Thank you all for your service and sacrifice, and Godspeed.

Our deploying Soldiers were among the guests of honor at a local Gatesville Hornets High School football game Friday as part of military appreciation night.

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. — A Wisconsin National Guard Soldier who saved a choking toddler last December was formally recognized for her actions by the American Red Cross of Southeast Wisconsin at the organization’s Brave Hearts event.

Soldiers celebrated Super Bowl Sunday at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo with an Officer vs. Enlisted dodge ball game in an aviation hanger. A meet and greet with NFL Seattle Seahawk Cheerleaders, Minnesota Viking Cheerleaders, and three NFL players took place later that night at the base theater before the Super Bowl.
Soldiers of the 32nd Military Police Company train for upcoming deployment to Kosovo at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center(MUTC) in Indiana. Soldiers received training on how to safely/effectively subdue and arrest combatants with batons. Interview with 32nd MP Company SPC Daniel Barber.
Soldiers of the 32nd Military Police Company get a UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopter ride from Camp Atterbury, IN to Muscatatuck Urban Training Center (MUTC). The Helicopter Crews were from Bravo Company, 1-50th Air Assault Battalion, New Jersey Army National Guard. The air assault mission kicked off the MP’s training for their deployment to Kosovo. The training consisted of non lethal weapons use. The Mossberg 500 Shotgun, X26E, FN 303 Compressed Air Launcher, and M203 were the weapons being used during training.
