If you spend any time at Fort McCoy, there’s a good chance you’ve seen Nancy! Whether she’s volunteering at the USO Center or out walking around Fort McCoy, Nancy has become a familiar and friendly face around post.

With an incredible 385.5 volunteer hours, Nancy brings not only her time and dedication to the USO, but also her knowledge of Fort McCoy. She knows her way around, knows the community, and is always ready to welcome service members, answer a question, or lend a hand wherever she’s needed.

Nancy’s friendly personality and dedication help make the USO Fort McCoy Center feel like a home away from home for the service members who visit us.

For 10 years, Heather has been a dedicated USO volunteer, making a difference for service members at Fort McCoy!

Heather is the kind of volunteer who sees a need and steps up. She regularly opens the USO Center on Sundays, helping ensure service members have a welcoming place to relax, grab a snack, recharge and connect.

During WAREX, Heather went above and beyond by helping keep the Freedom FOB open from 1–9 p.m., providing much-needed USO support during long training days. And when service members mention a favorite snack, drink or item they wish the Center had, Heather often goes out of her way to bring in those extras herself.

Her commitment isn't just about keeping the doors open. It's about making every service member who walks through them feel seen, appreciated and supported.
