This is great news! Looking forward to having Tandem back in business and happy to see this program will continue 💚 #LetsGrowTogether #MarketplaceBID32

Sometimes it's the hard work that pays off and sometimes it's the universe who's directing traffic. This is one of those times when it's both. Starting in June, the Tandem will be transitioning our free delivery meal program over to the good people at Upstart Kitchen so we can start getting back to being a restaurant. With the support of the City of Milwaukee, the entrepreneurs at UpStart will flex their culinary muscle to deliver thousands of free meals to Milwaukee residents each month. Registration for the meals will still take place on the Tandem's website for the time being, and June meal registration goes live at 5pm on Thursday, May 27th! You will notice a few extra demographic questions when registering for next month - just know we never share this data with anyone, but instead use the info to better advocate for the long-term success of the program and its participants.

ONE MORE THING: Because of this transition, registration is coming late this month... which means meals will also be late this month. Once you're signed up, you can expect meal deliveries to take place starting the week of June 7th. Thank you for riding with us for this long, we love y'all and can't wait to see you at the restaurant someday soon ❤️✌🏾🍗

DOR Wisconsin Tomorrow Small Business Recovery Grant

The Wisconsin Tomorrow Small Business Recovery Grants open for applications today, Monday, May 24. Here’s what you need to know to answer any questions from your businesses.
These grants, which are funded with federal funds from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), will provide up to $420 million to as many as 84,000 small businesses around the state.

The program is open to all businesses with revenues between $10,000 and $7 million that opened on or before December 31, 2020.
Every eligible business will receive a grant of $5,000, which can be used for any purpose – such as paying back rent, renovating spaces, hiring staff, etc. The intention is to get our small businesses moving again.

As with earlier phases of the We Are All In grants, we’re teaming up with the Department of Revenue to announce and publicize the grants, accept and approve applications, and provide the funds.

Applications for the Wisconsin Tomorrow Small Business grants will open from 8 a.m. Monday, May 24th through 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 7th.

As with the recent We’re All In Phase 2 grants, eligible businesses will apply through DOR’s site. It will be easy and quick.

Get 2021 health coverage. Health Insurance Marketplace®

Folks, if you missed open enrollment or your first payment for your enrolled plan, you now have another opportunity to get covered.

HealthCare.gov will be re-opening beginning February 15 through May 15. Ensuring everyone has affordable, accessible healthcare is critical—not only as we continue to fight #COVID19 but also as we recover from the pandemic and get folks back to work. I'm appreciative of President Joe Biden and advocates for making it possible for more Wisconsinites to get covered.
