Announcement About Scouting the Zoo
I know there is a lot going on with back to school set up, but if you want a fun family-themed Scouting weekend, I got something for you!
Scouting The Zoo normally is a huge Scouting Skills showcase to the general public, but due to Covid-19, they took a different twist to it. On Saturday, September 5 from 8 AM to 4 PM you can enjoy a day at the zoo!
There will be various Scout Skill Grottos that Cub Scouts can participate in.
If you already have a Parking Pass and a Zoo pass, all you need for the weekend is $5 for each participating person (If guardians don't want to do activities, they do not need a wristband, but if you want to ride the train, then you will need one). And you can get a cool Scouting the Zoo patch for only $1!
Safety wise, the Milwaukee County Zoo is requiring all Scout and Scout families participating to be both wearing proper face coverings and everyone involved with the Scouting event will be temperature screened.
