Wisconsin Talking Book and Braille Library The Wisconsin Talking Book and Braille Library allows people with a visual or physical impairment or a reading disability to listen to books or magazines.

The Wisconsin Talking Book and Braille Library provides a digital player so patrons can listen to books or magazines. Anyone in Wisconsin with a visual or physical impairment or a reading disability may be eligible for our service. WTBBL also provides access to newspapers by phone via Newsline, braille books, and audio-described movies. WTBBL has over 100,000 books to choose from.

NLS Director Jason Broughton was the guest on a recent episode of the US Postal Service podcast “Mailin’ It” to discuss Free Matter for the Blind mail and its importance to the NLS program. Broughton also talked about the history of NLS, how the program operates and the ways evolving technology has made it easier than ever for patrons to access audio and braille books whenever and wherever they desire.
