Happy Holidays! As ever, we are grateful for your support and wish you a wonderful New Year. To observe the holidays, our offices will be closed December 23 & 26, and December 30 & January 2. Our 24/7 sites, the Emergency Shelter and Autumn West Safe Haven, will remain open. Our Domestic Violence Crisis Line will be staffed round the clock at 414-671-6140. 💜 Friends, can you help us out? We are looking for individuals or groups that would be interested in providing meals at our Emergency Shelter. The dates needed are December 23, December 25, and December 27. The shelter is located on the near south side. Dinner is served at 6pm. We have a full kitchen. The meal can be made at our shelter or brought in fully cooked and warmed up at the shelter. There are normally about 30 adults and 30 children. Where Meeting Basic Needs Inspires Hope

Community Advocates provides individuals and families with advocacy and services to meet their basic needs so they may live in dignity. We operate the Milwaukee Women’s Center, are a member of the Milwaukee County Energy Assistance Program, provide homeless outreach and supportive housing services, help resolve landlord/tenant issues to prevent homelessness, and advocate for evidence-based solutions to problems related to poverty.
