Friends of Havenwoods State Forest The Friends of Havenwoods is a non-profit dedicated to supporting Havenwoods State Forest 🌲 join us! There are 7 miles of trails to explore.

Havenwoods State Forest is 237 acres of fields, woods, and wetlands located in the city. You do not need a state park sticker to visit. Parking is also free. The Nature Center is open from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday. It is closed Sunday and Monday.

UPCOMING WAYFARERS EVENT: Watercolor Workshop

Living in Wisconsin, we can all appreciate the majestic great blue heron. In this class taught by Emily Marie Watercolors, you will learn how to paint one using watercolors.

All professional supplies are included to paint an 8Ă—10 inch painting. No drawing involved: the great blue heron outline is printed directly onto your watercolor paper. Skill level: beginners to intermediate

Thanks to everyone that has assisted us with monarch tagging so far. Since 1992, these tags have helped scientists better understand the monarch’s fall migration.
