Regional Food System Plan

Interested in the future of Southeastern Wisconsin’s food system?

The Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (SEWRPC) has begun work on a Regional Food System Plan, and we need your input! This plan is aimed at increasing food access, reducing economic and health disparities, supporting locally owned and sustainably operated farms, preserving productive agricultural land and sensitive natural resources, and connecting the stakeholders throughout the Region that produce, process, distribute, and consume food. We invite you to attend a virtual public meeting to learn about the Region’s food system and provide input on what you’d like to see included in the Plan.

IndependenceFirst Virtual Meeting:
Tuesday, November 9th | 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Zoom Meeting Link:

Visit www.sewrpc.org/RFSP or call (262)953-3229 for more information about the plan

Two virtual public meetings were held on August 24th and 25th that provided an opportunity to learn about the Region’s food system and comment on the contents of the plan. If you were not able to attend one of the meetings, you can still provide input on what you would like to see included in th....
