MKE Elevate is a community health improvement initiative that uses community data as the foundation for improving and promoting the health of Milwaukee residents. Identified priority areas will result in action plans strategically coordinated with those agencies and partners best suited to address the issues.

Rosamaria at the City of Milwaukee Health Department joined the Steering Committee because one of the priority issues that Milwaukee residents identified was Maternal and Child Health, which she feels passionate about and works towards improving.

Taking into account recent data and feedback from the Milwaukee community, Racism and Health Equity was identified as the overarching priority that will drive the MKE Elevate Community Health Improvement Plan for 2023-2028.
