Online GED seekers presented with bogus diplomas, lawsuit alleges

There are many scams out there offering GED Certificates online....they are false! http://redtape.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/03/22/10797810-online-ged-seekers-presented-with-bogus-diplomas-lawsuit-alleges. The only way to obtain your GED is to sit down at a testing center and take the exams. The SOS Center partners with MATC in downtown Milwaukee for our GED students to take their exam and obtain their certificate. We have had 7 success stories so far! Each year we hold a Fall Fundraiser, which provides the additional financial support we need to keep our doors open. We do not receive any federal, state, or county funding. All our programs are offered free of charge to our participants. This years event was held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Brookfield, on Saturday, September 10, 2011.
