District One Officers, Milwaukee Police Department Fusion Officers, and the Milwaukee Police Foundation were able to help make the Holidays a little brighter for three local families. The families were chosen with the help of Coordinators at schools within the District One area. Donations were collected from the Officers and Community Partners to help provide gifts for the families. We would like to thank each business who made this possible, and the families who accepted us into their home for the Holidays.
Thank you Clement Manor residents! These wonderful care packages will be distributed by District One Officers.
District One would like to give a huge THANK YOU to the anonymous donor who provided 20 boxes of food that Officers handed out. Each box contained items to serve a heartfelt Christmas dinner and a gift card to a local grocery store.

Thank you to the generous people that made it possible for us to share 70 Thanksgiving meals from Meyer’s Restaurant. These meals went to families at the Cathedral Center and the friendship House. Also, a special thanks to Captain James Campbell and his family for making this happen.
On November 23rd, our friends at This Party Socks, collected these gifts of socks which were donated to our partners at The Cathedral Center. We here at District One would like to wish everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

Don't let the Grinch ruin your holiday!
With the holidays approaching, here are a few tips to avoid your package being stolen:
1.Have them delivered to a friend or family members house who is home during the day.
2.Turn your delivery notifications to the "on" position so you are notified when your package is delivered.
3. Have packages delivered to a well lit area.
4. Contact the Milwaukee Police Department with any suspicious activity. (414-933-4444)

Officers from District One as well as the Milwaukee County District Attorneys office volunteered to help serve the meal last night at St Benedict The Moor. Thank you to all who helped and volunteered, we had a great time and can’t wait to come back again!
