We are preparing for the 2021 Walk for Life. Each WALKER that brings in $25 or more in pledges will receive a Life is Beautiful t-shirt. This year there will be a limited number of youth sizes available. The target date for the Walk is Saturday, May 15. Churches may walk on different date that is more convenient. You may also walk on your own in your own neighborhood. Contact the Center for more information or if you need a pledge sheet.

This is our next event. Instead of the banquet we are having a catered gourmet dessert and coffee bar from 6:30 - 7:15 p.m. The cost of a ticket is $7.50. Tickets for the dessert portion of this event are limited so purchase your ticket as soon as possible. Tickets must be purchased in advance. You may attend just the program which starts at 7:30 p.m. (There will be a gluten-free option on the dessert bar).

We had good Family Ride for Life fundraiser on Saturday. We had 23 riders and a couple of "big wheel" riders. The bike route had some great views of the lake and God provided the perfect weather. We raised almost $6,000 for the Alpha Women's Center. Thank you to all those that participated and worked to make this another successful Ride for Life.

Alpha Women's Center Family Ride for Life is this Saturday, August 29th. The 10-mile ride begins at Wil-O-Way Grant Park, Picnic area #7. Registration is at 9:00 a.m. and ride begins at 9:30 a.m. Registration: Individual - $25, Couple - $35, Family - $45. Look what is going on at the Center today. We are getting a new parking lot. We received two generous donations in order to have our parking lot repaired and paved. It was in really bad shape. We also found out today that there was only sand under the asphalt and they are going to lay down gravel so it will last longer. The gravel will cost an additional $1200. If the Lord leads you to help with this additional expense, we would be grateful. God is using His people to be a blessing once again to the Alpha Women's Center. We are grateful.

Dear Friends, These are indeed unusual and uncertain times we are living in. Our WALK for Life is coming up and has always been one of our most successful fundraisers. In 2018,the Walk raised over $19,000 and in 2019 it raised almost $17,000. As you can see, this meets a significant part of our budget needs. The target date for the WALK FOR LIFE is Saturday, May 16 although individuals and churches can walk at a time that is more convenient. We don't know when the stay at home order will be lifted or will be lifted in time to have our "normal" Walk for Life.

Would you be willing to participate in the Walk for Life? You can walk individually or with your church or with a friend. You will receive a Walk for Life t-shirt with a minimum of $25 in pledges. If you would like a pledge sheet, please PM me your address and we will be happy to mail you one. It's only a two mile walk so all ages can participate. The Alpha Women's Center is committed to sharing the Word of God with our clients and we are 100% Pro-Life. We appreciate your prayers and your support.

Greetings. This is Holly, the director of the Alpha Women's Center. I know that many of you know about the health challenges I am facing these days and I will try to keep you updated. I certainly appreciate all the prayers that have gone up on my behalf and all the cards and biblical encouragement I have received. I am doing well and doing well enough to come to the Center today and get some administrative things done. I will have my second round of chemotherapy tomorrow. The Corona Virus restrictions have made my treatment even more of a challenge. So far my chemo side effects have been minimal (prayer works) but I have lost my hair and now wearing my scarves on my head instead of around my neck. I don't like to put too much personal information on FB so if you are interested in more details, you can private message me and I will try to respond as soon as I can. I am trusting the Lord and His will for my life. His grace is sufficient.
