Public works crews recently installed new treatments on 29th Ave to improve safety for everyone, including pedestrians and cyclists. Neighbors advocated for these improvements for years and the project was able to get prioritized and funded through the SAFE Spot Program in partnership with the Public Safety Advisory Committee. The city is hosting a drop-in utility billing assistance workshop this Saturday, May 23 from 11AM - 2PM at the Ledding Library of Milwaukie. Reps from NW Natural will also be there to help customers sign up for their bill discount program.
