**SPECIAL NOTICE** If you are a Freshman please arrive between 7:45-8:00 am. You will take your pictures first thing before you leave for your field trip. Please report to the HS Auditorium.

Nebraska State Fair Field Trip Update!

Our Nebraska State Fair field trip will look a little different this year. We are excited for our students to experience Nebraska’s Largest Classroom!

2nd & 3rd Grade: Tuesday, September 1st— Please arrive on time so we can depart at 8:30 a.m. as scheduled. Students will return to school around 3:00 p.m.

1st Grade: Wednesday, September 2nd — Please arrive on time so we can depart at 8:30 a.m. as scheduled. Students will return to school around 3:00 p.m.

Please have your child wear a purple shirt on the day of their field trip so we can easily identify our students while at the fair.

Lunch will be provided for all students attending the field trip.

Please be sure to check your child’s book-bag for a bright orange note with all the important field trip information.

Due to the lack of bus drivers available, MPS will NOT be running the after school shuttle bus either direction on the following dates: September 10th, 21st, 24th, and 28th. We ask that parents make alternate transportation plans if your child typically rides the shuttle bus after school. Please communicate your child's alternate plans with the respective school office. Friday fun in the gym!💜 We wrapped up the week with some time together sharing our school spirit. Nothing better than chanting the school fight song led by two Whippet football coaches and a Whippet volleyball coach—all who spend their days with us at East!
