🏹 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆! 🏹

From the classroom to the range, archery continues to grow across Louisiana through the LDWF Archery in Louisiana Schools (ALAS) program and public shooting range facilities.

Since 2015, more than 200,000 students have participated in archery instruction through ALAS, with over $216,000 in scholarships awarded since 2017. During the 2025-2026 season alone, Louisiana hosted 37 tournaments with 13,466 participants who shot a combined 538,640 arrows statewide. 🎯

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀? LDWF offers archery facilities across the state, including:

📍 Woodworth Shooting Range
▪️10-station 3D archery trail with more than 15 targets
▪️50-yard static archery range

📍 Sherburne WMA Shooting Range
▪️Targets at 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 yards
▪️15-foot elevated tower for shooting at 3D targets

📍 Waddill Outdoor Education Center
▪️Elevated tower for 3D targets
▪️Static range with bag and 3D targets
▪️3D archery trail

📍 Bodcau Archery Range
▪️Static range with 3D and practice targets
▪️Trail featuring more than 20 3D targets
