🇺🇸 On Flag Day, we honor the flag—a timeless symbol of freedom, unity, and the enduring spirit of our nation.

It stands as a reminder of the sacrifices made to protect our liberties and the values that continue to bring us together as Americans.

Today, we proudly celebrate the Stars and Stripes and all that it represents.

Building strong communities starts with building relationships.

The Village of Freeport Police Adopt-a-Cop program connects local fourth-grade students with the officers who serve and protect their community, fostering trust, promoting safety awareness, and creating meaningful connections.

Thank you to Chief Michael Smith and the entire Freeport Police Department for their commitment to strengthening community relationships and investing in the next generation.

is Aphasia Awareness Month in !

We were proud to join healthcare professionals, advocates, caregivers, and residents living with aphasia to shine a light on a condition that affects more than 2 million . Often caused by a stroke or brain injury, aphasia can make it difficult to speak, read, write, or understand language.

By raising awareness and encouraging understanding, we can help give a stronger voice to those living with aphasia and support the individuals and families impacted by it every day.

Happy Birthday to our seniors!

We were especially honored to celebrate two extraordinary milestones this month: Thelma Soodhoo's 102nd birthday and Richard Baade's 100th birthday.

A special thank you to North Shore Animal League America for bringing some furry friends to brighten the day, and to our Nassau County Office for the Aging and Nassau County Department of Parks, Recreation and Museums for making this wonderful event possible each month.

Confidence starts with preparation.

Drawing on more than 30 years as a martial arts, I was proud to partner with the Long Island Herald team for a self-defense workshop focused on situational awareness, personal safety, and practical techniques to help people stay safe.

Thank you to Stuart Richner and the entire team for participating and making it a great class!

It was a pleasure meeting with the President of the Henan American Association and the Henan Province Delegation. We discussed economic development and opportunities with leaders from major companies in the food, agriculture, and global commerce sectors.

Building strong relationships and exchanging ideas with business leaders from around the world helps drive innovation, strengthen economic partnerships, and create new opportunities for growth.
