The Sound of the Swarm has offered up their equipment trucks and trailers for us to transport material donations to food victims and first responders in the Kerr County area.

Please come help the WCFRA and friends fill the trailers on Tuesday! Items in need are on the flyer. We are not accepting cash donations, you should vet any organization you feel led to give monetary support to.

We would like to remind everyone it is illegal to discharge fireworks within the City Limits of Mineola.
The ordinance is cited below.

Sec. 18-1. - Fireworks prohibited.
It shall be unlawful for any person to have in his possession for sale, or to sell or offer for sale, or to fire or discharge within the city any fireworks, including firecrackers, torpedoes, fire balloons, sparklers and cannon, in which explosives are used, or any and all other kind of fireworks. Public displays of fireworks, as defined under state law and permitted, are allowed.
