The Village of Mineola invites residents and members of the community to attend our 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Friday, September 11 at 6:00 PM in Mineola Memorial Park.

We are honored to welcome Michael Balboni, President of Adelphi University and former New York State Senator, as our keynote speaker.

Let us gather in remembrance, reflection, and unity as we honor the victims, first responders, and all those whose lives were forever changed.

All are welcome to attend.

We had the pleasure of welcoming to the Village of Mineola the “Tuna de Medicina do Porto” as they travel across the northeast and Canada on their summer visit to North America. A “Tuna” is a musical group rooted in medieval tradition found in many universities in Portugal and Spain. All the members of the particular tuna are medical students. A huge thank you to the Carvalho Family Foundation and the Portuguese Heritage Society for their generosity.
