Since June 14, 1775, U.S. Army soldiers have answered the call to serve with courage, honor, and dedication.

On this Army Birthday, we honor the men and women who have worn the uniform, those currently serving, and the families who stand beside them. Your sacrifice, commitment, and dedication have helped shape our nation’s history and continue to secure its future.

September will be here before we know it, and we’ll be teeing off for one of our favorite events of the year!

This tournament is one of our two biggest fundraisers and helps us continue supporting veterans right here in Wood County. Every sponsorship, donation, and golfer makes a difference.

We appreciate all of the support we receive from the community during our regular season!

We’re doing something a little different this year and starting early - nothing wrong with a little Christmas spirit during the summer! 🎄🌞🏖️🎅

Please consider helping us fill some boxes in July with toys for our older age groups (8-17) to help us kick off the season with a great start! 🎁 🧸 🛴

🎄 Christmas in July is coming to Wood County! 🎄

We’ve got a great lineup of events planned throughout July (and maybe a few more still to come 😉), we’d love to see you there!

This particular drive is focused on helping fill a critical need: toys and gifts for kids ages 8–17. While all donations are appreciated, these age groups are consistently the hardest to stock, and we ended last season with our shelves completely empty for older children.

Every year, Toys for Tots helps support 11 organizations across Wood County, in addition to the few hundred family requests that we receive. With your help now, we can start filling those requests as soon as the season opens and make sure no child is overlooked this Christmas.

Today, on Women Veterans Recognition Day, we proudly honor the remarkable women who have answered the call to serve our nation.

We recognize the women of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard who have worn the uniform with honor. Their service has strengthened our military, protected our freedoms, and inspired future generations to follow in their footsteps.

To every woman veteran: thank you for your sacrifice, your commitment, and your service to our country. Your contributions have left an enduring mark on our nation’s history, and your legacy continues to inspire us all.

This is fantastic news!! Members of our detachment go above and beyond by donating their time to help with the Patriot Sporting Challenge golf tournament.
