With extreme temperatures in the forecast, it’s important to take a few extra precautions to protect yourself and those around you.
💧 Stay hydrated
👕 Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing
🌞 Limit outdoor activity during the hottest part of the day
🚗 Never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle
❤️ Check on elderly neighbors, family members, and anyone without air conditioning
Know the warning signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. If someone is experiencing symptoms of heat stroke, call 911 immediately—it is a medical emergency.
