Our director of tourism Zach Balch and social media manager Whitney Hill joined the Texas Film Commission for an industry mixer at Texas Live in Arlington. Meeting with a room full of creatives leaves us with a feeling that anything is possible when we write our own stories.

Cheers to the creators, dreamers, schemers, movers, and shakers out there! You are welcome in Mineral Wells.

Shout out to TJ for capturing this moment for us.

Here's a secret most grown-ups forget: 300 million years ago, Mineral Wells was underwater. Not "big lake" underwater — actual ocean, full of sharks, sea lilies, and creatures with more legs than you can count. Then the ocean left, time did its thing, and it buried the proof right here.
