‼️Update: the individuals have been identified, thank you for your help‼️

Hello, Community! We are asking for your help in identifying these three individuals who were observed inside the Baker Hotel.

If you recognize any of these individuals or have any information that may assist with identifying them, please contact Detective Corporal M. Patino at 940-328-7753. Or you can submit an anonymous tip online with the link attached.

As these men and women bravely continue to fight this wild fire, they are in need of a few things! Here is a list of items needed and locations that the donations can be dropped off.

Our dispatchers have been inundated with phone calls about donations interfering with emergency calls. While they are trying to answer every call and help anyone who calls, lets help make their job a little easier by calling some of the resources listed here!

Prayers for the safety of everyone who could be affected by the fire and all the personnel working to put it out!

We want to remind everyone to slow down and stay alert while driving. Distracted driving is a major factor in traffic accidents.

We will continue to partner with our local and state partners on traffic enforcement in areas where we have a lot of accidents.

On July 23rd, 2026 the Texas Highway Patrol and the Mineral Wells Police Department conducted a joint task force aimed at reducing red light traffic violations, speeding, and other traffic violations that contribute to traffic crashes in Mineral Wells.

The task force focused on a specific area that had 481 traffic crashes in 2025 and resulted in 90 traffic stops during a 2 hour period. TXDPS NTX reminds all drivers to follow traffic laws and pay attention while driving.

Community Update, Approximately 12:30 pm: The situation on the southwest side of town has been safely resolved. An adult white male involved has been taken into custody without incident, and no injuries were reported.

We appreciate the public's patience and cooperation while officers worked to safely resolve the situation.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Parker County SWAT Team for their assistance and professionalism throughout the incident.

Community Update (original post): There is an increased law enforcement presence on the southwest side of town due to an ongoing family violence incident involving a barricaded individual inside a residence. Please avoid the area and allow law enforcement personnel the space they need to safely resolve the situation. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.
