Good Afternoon and the Mighty Lion Nation!!,
Please read this message in its entirety, as we have important updates regarding LC Athletics:
There is much uncertainty with Friday evening's weather forecast due to Hurricane Ian.
Due to this uncertainty, our Varsity Football Lions will now host Monticello HS on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 7:30 pm in The JUNGLE!!
Tomorrow's game will remain First Responder's Night, and we look forward to recognizing these brave men & women in our community, who sacrifice so much to keep us safe.
All First Responders will get into the game at no cost, so long as you show up in uniform or have your WORK ID with you at the main gate!!
We will also host a pregame cookout under the tent in the stadium for our First Responders at 6:15 pm, and recognize them coming out of the tunnel and onto the field at 7:05 pm for The Lion Nation to show their appreciation!!
Our community tailgate in front of LCMS will start at 5:45 pm and the gates will open at 6 pm sharp.
Presale tickets will be available during lunch shifts in the LCHS CAF at LCHS on 09/29.
We also have special guests that will be on hand tomorrow to help with our pre-game on field festivities - The Siren City Pipe Band out of Norfolk, VA!!
Let’s get tuned up for a Thursday Night matchup between the Monticello Mustangs and YOUR LOUISA LIONS!! Let’s be there for Coach Patrick & Staff, our players, Cheerleaders, Marching Lions, Loonies, the LC Community, and ALL OF OUR FIRST RESPONDERS!!
