MINERSVILLE FIRE RESCUE Minersville Fire Rescue was founded in 2010 through the consolidation of the Independent Hose Co. and Rescue Hook & Ladder Co.

Rescue 52-52 responded to Interstate 81 in Pine Grove Twp to assist with a tractor trailer accident with entrapment. Crews from multiple agencies worked together to free the occupant during the extended extrication process.

Congratulations to the Minersville Little League Girls Softball Team who won the Pennsylvania State Championship tonight!

We will welcome the team home tomorrow night with a parade through town at 7pm, starting at the Little League Complex.

Any apparatus wishing to attend should enter off of 5th Street, and face toward Sunbury Street on 4th Street.

The storm may have slowed us down, but it definitely didn’t stop us!

A huge thank you to Quandel Construction and Mark Hammers Towing for stepping up and loaning us generators to keep everything powered up for tonight.

We also want to thank everyone who pitched in after the storm. The stage took a beating, but thanks to a lot of hard work, it was repaired and is ready for another great night of music!

If the weather earlier had you thinking twice about coming out, now’s the time! The power has been restored, we’ve got backup generators in place, the food is hot, the beer is cold, and Hooligan is ready to take the stage!!!

Come help us finish the Minersville Fire Rescue Annual Block Party on a high note! We truly appreciate everyone’s patience, support, and the generosity of businesses like Quandel Construction and Mark Hammers Towing that helped make tonight possible.

If you haven’t made it out yet, tonight’s your last chance!

Our members have been hard at work all week getting everything ready, and we’re excited to welcome everyone out for the next three nights!

• Homemade food starts at 6:00 PM
• Toolshed Jack takes the stage at 7:00 PM
• Dunk tank is back!
• Three Bounce houses for the kids!

Bring your family, meet up with friends, grab something to eat, and enjoy a great night of live music, and cold drinks!
