SPRING CLEANUP
The annual Spring Cleanup for the Village of Minerva will be Saturday, May 11th
Please note the following restrictions:
All loose trash to be hauled must be in disposable containers and placed at the curb by 6:00 A.M. May 11th. These containers must not exceed 50 pounds each. Residents are reminded that the trucks must be able to access the items so if vehicles or trailers are parked in front of the items, they will not be picked up. Trucks will not pick up a second time, so all items must be at the curb, accessible, on time. Photographs will be taken if items are not accessible or out on the curb by 6:00 am.
Please note that any non-resident dropping off items for pickup may be prosecuted for illegal dumping.
The following items CANNOT be accepted: dirt, rocks, construction material, or material of that nature, hazardous materials, paints or chemicals, tires, appliances with Freon unless the Freon has been removed and tagged as such by a technician. Tree limbs and brush must be in bundles not to exceed 4 feet in length or 50 pounds in weight. Carpet must be cut down to 4 feet and rolled up with duct tape or twine. All cloth/material items such as mattresses, chairs, sofas, etc. must be completely wrapped in plastic to be accepted.
