Today we pause to remember the men and women who gave everything in service to this country. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or the start of summer—it is a reminder that freedom has always carried a cost paid by sons, daughters, husbands, wives, friends, and neighbors who never made it home.

As a fire department, we understand the meaning of sacrifice, service, and answering the call when others are running the other way. Today we honor those who wore the uniform before us and gave their lives so others could live in freedom.

We also want to encourage everyone celebrating today to do so safely. Slow down on the roads, never drink and drive, watch out for one another, and make smart decisions. The best way we can honor those who sacrificed so much is by valuing the lives we have been given.

From all of us at the department, thank you to the fallen, the families who carry their memory, and all who continue to serve.

Stay safe, take care of each other, and never forget. 🇺🇸

Today’s Spring Vendor Show was a tremendous success, and we want to extend our sincerest gratitude to every vendor, community member, volunteer, and supporter who came out to be part of it.

Even with the rain falling and the sun refusing to shine, so many of you still made the decision to come out, shop local, and support small businesses. That kind of support means more than words can truly express. Your dedication to our local vendors and community events helped make today special despite the weather challenges.

To all of our vendors — thank you for your time, your hard work, and for bringing your talents, products, and passion to our community. We know the weather was less than ideal, yet your positivity and commitment never wavered.

To everyone who attended, shared posts, purchased raffle tickets, participated in the 50/50, or simply stopped by to support the event — thank you for believing in community. Days like today remind us that even a little rain cannot dampen the spirit of people coming together for a good cause.

For the next three to four months, you may see this ambulance pull up to your door. No worries, it is all good news. After 20+ years of faithful service, we have decided to semi-retire our red ambulance that everyone is use to seeing. While that ambulance undergoes a facelift, this is the ambulance that will be operating in its place. Services are not changing nor are the people who provide said services. We will just be “riding in style” now until our red ambulance is returned to us, with a brand new look. Be well and have a great weekend!!
