Our post 47 Fire Explorer Abbey Wigal is so talented. She painted our beautiful Indian at the City Building...She also can paint faces! She is painting faces at the haunted house...here are a few from last night...she is SCARY good!!!

National Skills USA in Louisville, Kentucky! ❤️💙❤️💙 Unfortunately, I did not make it up to the podium, but I did place 4th in the nation for my competition! (Health Occupational Professional Portfolio) I had an amazing time, this was a great learning experience. Sadly this was officially my last high school field trip. Tell next time Skills USA 👋🏻🇺🇸

Congratulations Zanea VanHorn!... She passed her Phlebotomy exam! She is a Phlebotomist and Nursing assistant now! She goes to Waynesburg in August for nursing. We are very proud of you. 💖💖💖

We want to say CONGRATULATIONS to Abbey Wigal and Zanea VanHorn Class of 2019. Our senior girls, Abbey will be joining the Army to become a medic. Zanea will be attending Waynesburg College to study nursing. Both of these girls are SO AWESOME! They will both be leaving us in August. We wish them the best, we know they will succeed in anything they try to do... 💖💖💖🚒🚑

A big CONGRATULATIONS and WAY TO GO to Post 0047 Fire Explorer Zanea Van Horn and her Partner Leah Pennington. 1st place at HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) Regionals. They will be moving on to the state finals.

Zanea has been studing like crazy. We are so proud of her!! Waynesburg will be luck to have you next fall. We wish you and Leah all the best at State!

CONGRATULATIONS to our own Post 0047 Fire Explorer Zanea Van Horn. She passed her Nurses Aid test on Tuesday. Zanea got the 2nd highest score in her class.

If you have spent any time with Zanea you would know what a smart, caring, responsible, and wonderful girl she is.

The heath care profession will be lucky to have her. If you see her on a call with the Mingo Fire Department know that you are in capable and caring hands....
