Minier Police Explorers

Minier Police Explorers The Minier Police Explorer Post 6007 is an organization that helps introduce youth, age 14-21, into law enforcement. See if it's for you!

The Minier Police Explorers aims to prepare young adults for their future career in Law Enforcement. Along the way, members will learn leadership qualities, how to work well with others as well as strengthening their ability to work alone. See if you have what it takes to be a Law Enforcement Explorer at the Minier Police Department!

We are having a friendly contest with Hopedale Police to see who can fill their car first. All the toys are donated to Community Claus and are delivered to children in our communities to help give them a Merry Christmas. Please donate a new, unwrapped toy at Casey's, Village Hall, or to any Officer and let's fill our squad before Hopedale!!

The Minier Police Explorers spent their Tuesday evening training on traffic stops. Topics covered ranged from, making a decision about why to stop a vehicle, where to park, how to approach a vehicle, what to ask for, and the decisions an officer makes if a ticket will be issued or not, all while being safe!

Are you or someone you know interested in becoming a Minier Police Explorer? You must be between the ages of 14-21 and be willing to learn and volunteer your time to assist in public events and train on law enforcement topics. Feel free to reach out to the Village of Minier at 309-392-2442.

Happy TC Week to all of the fabulous telecommunicators out there!
In October 1991, Congress designated the 2nd full week in April to be known as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of my dispatch staff members. You are appreciated beyond words. Without all of you, there would be no TC3. Enjoy your week and all that we have planned. You deserve the very best! -AH 💙💛❤️
