Pillsbury United Communities

Pillsbury United Communities We co-create enduring change towards a just society. We believe that people deserve a voice in decisions that affect them. This is what justice means.

We believe that cultural understanding is essential to social connection. We believe that communities get stronger when opportunity is shared. We believe that a just society is one where everybody has power - no exceptions. For 140 years, we have put these beliefs into action. Here we lay foundations for full, healthy lives for children and families. Here we build places of creativity and connecti

on, where strong voices are nurtured and stories are amplified. Here we create pathways to a prosperous future, from education to jobs to economic mobility. The opportunity to flourish regardless of zip code, age, ability, or background. The power to own our future on our own terms. For us, enduring change is not a lofty vision, but an ongoing pursuit, unfolding day by day, need by need, and block by block. To achieve it, you have to live it. Justice lives here.

If you or a family member has experienced domestic abuse, sexual assault, or stalking, you shouldn't have to choose between your safety and your job.

Minnesota Paid Leave includes Safety Leave: paid, job-protected time off for Minnesota workers who need to respond to a safety crisis. That can include finding safe housing, getting medical or mental health care, working with an advocate or attorney, going to court, or making a safety plan.

Your privacy is protected throughout the process. Your employer will only know that you took Family Leave, not the reason why.

You deserve to feel safe. And you deserve support getting there.

If you need help connecting with a Safety Leave certifier or advocate, call the Minnesota Day One® crisis line: 1-866-223-1111.
