This morning, ServeMinnesota and our partners at PNC Bank celebrated Read Across America Day at Nellie Stone Johnson Elementary.

Early literacy shapes confidence, curiosity, and long-term success for kids. We’re grateful to have both federal and private partners like PNC who back our work in schools across Minnesota.

When severe storms tore through Bemidji earlier this year, the community was reeling. United Way of Bemidji Area had been coordinating recovery for months, but there was still so much to do.

That’s when they reached out to ServeMinnesota.

As Minnesota’s state commission for national and community service, we help connect local partners and AmeriCorps programs, like Conservation Corps, to meet urgent community needs and build long-term impact.
