Lovely Volunteer Stewardship morning in the Cedar Lake School Forest. All ages of willingness to clean East Beach, remove buckthorn, plant natives, develop the nature play area, enhance the trails, and create community.

Everyone had fun, no one was hurt.

Ice harvesting for refrigeration was done from Cedar Lake in the early 1900s by the Cedar Lake Ice Company. Located on the northeast lakeshore, remnants can be seen today
