Little Poetry Library

Little Poetry Library A place to find poetry, and to leave poetry for others to find. The corner of 39th Ave. and E. Lake St.
(1)

is a place to stumble upon poetry books and periodicals, and to share the poems you want others to have a chance to encounter. Stop by any time to browse and take a book you want to read. When you're finished with the book, return it OR keep it in circulation by passing it along to a friend or another little library. If you have a book of poems that you wish more of your neighbors could see, leave

it at the Little Poetry Library - an outdoor book cupboard outside Blue Moon Café. If you like, write a note for the next reader before you add your contribution to the Library. And, while you're here, browse the titles others have left, and find a book you want to take with you.
..

The Little Poetry Library was created by a fiscal year 2013 recipient of an Artist Initiative grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. Big thanks to Blue Moon Café and John Kolstad for hosting the Little Poetry Library on their corner, and to the many local writers and publishers who have generously donated their work to be part of the library's always-changing collection.
