If you or a family member has experienced domestic abuse, sexual assault, or stalking, you shouldn't have to choose between your safety and your job.

Minnesota Paid Leave includes Safety Leave: paid, job-protected time off for Minnesota workers who need to respond to a safety crisis. That can include finding safe housing, getting medical or mental health care, working with an advocate or attorney, going to court, or making a safety plan.

Your privacy is protected throughout the process. Your employer will only know that you took Family Leave, not the reason why.

Every year, more than 100 children in Hennepin County are found to have high blood lead levels, high enough to damage their health. Lead exposure is particularly dangerous for young children and can lead to brain and nervous system damage, slowed growth and development, and learning and behavior problems.

But there's good news—lead poisoning is 100% preventable.

🏠 Hennepin County's Lead Control Program offers:
✅ Free lead testing for homes built before 1978
💰 Up to $15,000 in grants for eligible families to remove lead hazards
🛠️ Expert assistance from certified lead risk assessors
