What’s on our mind? The greatness of Patty Walton!

Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid describes Patty perfectly when they say, “She bridges barriers of distance, culture and language by staffing our Harrison Community Clinic.” Patty’s brilliance, compassion, and deep understanding of both the legal system and the Northside community are a true blessing to Harrison.

It is hard to overstate how many people have been able to stand up for themselves, protect their housing, and face impossible situations with a true advocate beside them because Patty is here. During this especially difficult period of high eviction rates and urgent community need, she has once again risen to the occasion—fighting tirelessly for the rights of residents both inside and outside the courtroom.

Patty shows up for everyone she works with in a way that makes people feel truly seen, heard, and defended. Her presence in this community matters more than words can fully capture, and we are incredibly grateful for her.
