A new school year begins long before the first Hall Star walks through our doors. 💫

All across Hall STEM Academy, our staff are moving furniture, preparing materials, organizing classrooms, cleaning spaces, solving problems and attending to countless details…all with one shared purpose: creating the very best conditions for our children to learn.

At Hall, everyone is an educator. Every person, every role and every space contributes to the belonging, joy, curiosity and possibility our students experience.

We are incredibly grateful for the love, hard work and care being poured into our school. The classrooms are taking shape. The anticipation is building. And Hall is beginning to shine!
We cannot wait to welcome our Hall Stars and families back for another year of learning, discovery and growth.

🌟 Congratulations to Rachel Stewart, physical education specialist at Hall STEM Academy, on being named a 2026 UnitedHealthcare Community Champion of the Homestand! 🌟

Rachel was one of 12 Community Champions honored by UnitedHealthcare and the Minnesota Twins for her outstanding work leading MPS Camp North Stars this summer and creating meaningful learning experiences for nearly 150 students.

We’re so proud of Rachel and the impact she makes in our community! 👏👏👏

Today marks our final day at Camp North Stars! We are spending our last day together in Maple Grove.

🏊🍕 What a fantastic day at Camp North Stars! ⭐💙

Today, our campers had an amazing time celebrating at our Pool Party at V3 Swim Facility! There were smiles, laughter, swimming, and so much fun as campers showed off the skills and confidence they built throughout the summer.

When we returned to camp, everyone was surprised with a pizza party to celebrate another unforgettable day together! 🍕🎉

It's hard to believe that tomorrow is our final day of Camp North Stars. What an incredible summer it has been! From literacy and STEM to swimming, field trips, arts, sports, and new friendships, our campers have learned, grown, and created memories that will last a lifetime.

Thank you to our amazing campers, families, staff, Minneapolis Public Schools, and community partners for making this summer so special.

💙⭐ What an incredible week at Camp North Stars! ⭐💙

This week has been filled with adventure, learning, and unforgettable memories! Our campers explored the public library, enjoyed an exciting Slip 'N Slide Water Party, munched on fresh popcorn, celebrated their accomplishments during our Swim Marathon, and proudly earned their swimming medals! 🏊🏅📚🍿💦

From literacy and hands-on learning to teamwork, laughter, and active play, our campers have experienced a summer full of growth, friendship, and fun. Every day has been an opportunity to learn something new, build confidence, and create lasting memories.

It's hard to believe we have only THREE days left of Camp North Stars! We're looking forward to making these final days our best yet as we finish the summer strong together.

Thank you to our amazing campers, dedicated staff, supportive families, and community partners for making Camp North Stars such a special place to learn, grow, and shine. ⭐

💙⭐ Today was a good day at Camp North Stars! ⭐💙

While we had to change our plans because of the extreme heat and poor air quality, our campers and staff showed what Camp North Stars is all about...flexibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude!

Instead of focusing on what we couldn't do, we worked together to create a day filled with laughter, learning, creativity, and games. Sometimes the best adventures happen when we have to think outside the box.

Thank you to our incredible staff for their creativity, our campers for their enthusiasm, and our families for their continued support and understanding as we make safety our top priority.

Here's to another great day and an even better tomorrow! ⭐

⭐ Can you believe we're already at the midpoint of summer break? ⭐

We hope our Hall Stars are making the most of every adventure by sleeping in a little, reading good books, exploring, spending time with family and friends, and creating memories while staying safe considering the extreme heat and air quality issues. 💜

While there's still plenty of summer to enjoy, we're also getting excited because in just 54 days, we'll open our doors and welcome our Hall Stars back for the first day of the 2026–2027 school year!

This year isn't just another school year...

🚀 This is our year to LEVEL UP!

Together, we'll continue building a school where every Hall Star is challenged, supported, and inspired through STEM, joyful learning, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to shine brighter than ever.

📍 Please note: The Hall STEM Academy Main Office is closed for the summer and will reopen on Tuesday, August 11th.

There's nothing better than seeing our young readers fully engaged in a great book!

Today, our campers enjoyed independent reading, strengthened their literacy skills, and discovered the joy of getting lost in a story. Every page they turn helps build vocabulary, confidence, imagination, and a lifelong love of reading.

At Camp North Stars, we believe strong readers become strong leaders, and we're proud to create opportunities for every camper to grow through literacy each and every day.
