Last night, the Minneapolis Women’s Rotary had the pleasure of welcoming Keiona Cook, founder of Lovely’s Sewing & Arts Collective, along with the volunteers, parents, and students she impacts.
Founded in 2009, Lovely’s is on a mission to empower youth and adults by healing mindsets, building bridges, and creating unity through sewing and community-centered programming. What started as Keiona’s desire to bring back essential life skills has grown into an organization that has changed more than 20,000 lives across the Twin Cities.
Through group classes, private lessons, and community-centered sewing experiences, Lovely’s helps participants build confidence, creativity, and real-world skills—all while fostering connection and joy.
