In honor of National Hamburger Day, we are highlighting our collection of Val's Rapid Service, a locally owned fast-food takeout restaurant that has been serving the St. Cloud community for over 60 years.

This iconic spot was opened in 1959 by Val and Kathleen Henning, who operated it for 20 years before it was bought by Bill and David Henning (pictured in the post) in 1979, who operated it collaboratively for another 11. Since then, Val's has been kept running by David Henning and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2009.

Val's has become a staple to the St. Cloud area, welcoming residents and attracting visitors alike. As you can see, not much has changed, including the restaurant's commitment to serving its community by providing delicious and accessible food for the whole family.🍔
