Minneola Schoolhouse Library "We are a library small enough to know you and large enough to serve you." The library has a Friends Group, the Front Porch Book Club,and Family Story Times.

The Minneola Schoolhouse Library is a full service library offering materials for checkout, placing items on reserve from other libraries for pick-ups/drop-offs, children's and adult programs,computers for internet use, and wireless reception. Come and check out our free magazine exchange.

In honor of Memorial Day, all 16 Lake Libraries will be closed on Sunday, May 24, and Monday, May 25, 2026. The following locations will be open on Saturday, May 23:
Leesburg Public Library
Marianne Beck Memorial Library
Tavares Public Library
Umatilla Public Library
W.T. Bland Public Library

Join us on Monday, May 18 at 4pm for a special music program. The Montverde Troubadours is a group of students from Montverde Academy who perform music as a form of community service. They often perform at nursing homes and assisted living centers, but also play at libraries and other public venues.

May is almost here, can you believe it?! The PAWS Therapy dogs are in the library next Tuesday, we have story times every Thursday & Friday. Crafts for Kids happens on May 14. And we have two new programs; a Spanish Cuisine Cooking Demonstration on May 12 and the Montverde Troubadours will serenade us on May 18. Join us!

It's that time of year! If you have fines, bring non-perishable items of food, and we will waive your fines. We accept people and pet food. All donations made to our library will benefit the South Lake Presbyterian Church Food Bank, which is open on Monday mornings.
