and the confidence that comes from preparation. That's why we continue to train, maintain our
equipment, and challenge ourselves to improve.

Today's fire service is about far more than fighting fires.
Our members respond to motor vehicle crashes, hazardous materials incidents, severe weather,
rescues, medical emergencies, public service calls, and, yes, fires. Every call is different, but our
commitment remains the same—to arrive prepared, work together, and serve our community
with professionalism.

Leaving the Department Better Than We Found It.

As firefighters, we inherit more than trucks, equipment, and a station. We inherit a
responsibility.
Long before any of us joined Minnesota Lake Fire, there were men and women who answered
the pager, trained together, cared for their equipment, and served this community with pride. They built a department that earned the trust of Minnesota Lake through hard work,
professionalism, and dedication.
Today, that responsibility belongs to us.
Every training night, every truck check, every improvement we make, and every new firefighter
we mentor is an investment in the future of this department. Our goal isn't simply to maintain
what we've been given—it's to leave Minnesota Lake Fire stronger than we found it.
I often remind our members that we are only temporary stewards of this department. The work
we do today will benefit firefighters and community members we may never meet. That's a
responsibility worth embracing.
To our current members, thank you for your commitment. To those who served before us, thank
you for building the foundation we continue to stand on. And to the people of Minnesota Lake,
thank you for trusting us with the responsibility of protecting this community.

🚨 WONDERING WHAT WAS GOING ON NORTH OF TOWN TONIGHT? 🚒🚑
It was us! 😄
The Minnesota Lake Ambulance and Minnesota Lake Fire Department were out training together, practicing our skills, and running different emergency scenarios. 🚑🔥
These joint training nights give us a chance to work together, sharpen our skills, practice communication, and make sure we’re prepared to respond as a team when our community needs us most.
A big part of being a volunteer emergency responder is training when things are calm, so we’re ready when things aren’t. 💪
We’re proud to have two departments that continue to train, learn, and work together to serve the Minnesota Lake community. ❤️
So if you saw lights, vehicles, or a bunch of activity north of town tonight — now you know what was happening! 😉

As another quarter comes to a close, I want to once again thank the people of Minnesota Lake
for the confidence you've placed in your volunteer fire department.
It is a privilege to protect the community where we live, work, and raise our families. We will
continue striving to earn your trust through preparation, professionalism, and service.

It's measured by the relationships it builds, the trust it earns, the education it provides, and the
pride it takes in serving its community. Those are things we work to strengthen every day.
