Hey folks! Here are some pictures from our training yesterday.
This was a fantastic training experience for our members, and it simply wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support we receive from our community and our City Council.
We’d like to give a huge thank you to Nordaas American Homes, T&W Towing, City of Minnesota Lake Public Works, Gregor Tiling, Our Place, and The Orange Door Grill & Bar for helping make this training possible.
A special thank you to the Gregor family for allowing us to use their building site and grain bins for the training. Having access to a real-world environment like this gave our members an opportunity to train in conditions that closely replicate the types of challenges we may encounter on an actual call.
We also want to thank Shelby Brown and Brian Lubahn for volunteering their time to photograph the training and capture some great pictures for us.
A huge shout-out to Corey Petersen and Sam Lemmon for putting everything together and making this opportunity happen. We’d also like to thank Mapleton Fire Department for coming over and training with us. These types of partnerships and joint training opportunities only make us stronger and improve our ability to serve our communities when the call comes.
We are extremely fortunate to have a community that supports its fire department and members who are willing to put in the time to train, learn, and continually improve.
