Lorne Brunner, MS-CFI, was sought and featured for his perspective regarding the pursuit of an arson conviction in this case. Arson is rarely easy to prove, even though it can readily appear to be the cause.

A woman is accused of intentionally setting a downtown Minneapolis apartment on fire last August, killing two people and displacing dozens.

As I walked amidst a family's belongings on the property surrounding a major home explosion that killed two people, I saw this book in the ruins. Every time home utilities are repaired or replaced, always ask for the credentials of the repair person and insist on seeing inspection documentation. Our lives truly can be in the hands of our utility workers.
