The Minnesota Department of Human Services and the Minnesota Board on Aging have launched a statewide survey asking older adults about their daily lives, needs and experiences. Responses will help the State of Minnesota improve services and supports for older adults.

Anyone age 60 or older living in Minnesota is eligible to complete the survey. It takes about 20 minutes to complete, and answers are private and won't be linked to your name.

Technology problems can have some unexpected sources... 🐾

A client recently called us for help when their computer suddenly stopped turning on. After a quick investigation, we found out that the client's cat had turned off the power strip! Who would've thought?

As an organization with roots in local senior centers, no one knows bingo like us. We play it at our staff retreats, at senior centers, and now we want YOU to play it with us at our new fundraiser: Bingo for Better Aging on June 3rd.

We'll be putting a twist on it. Come enjoy lively rounds of MUSICAL bingo and hear stories along the way of how SCS supports older adults and caregivers. All money raised will support our services that keep people independent and connected to their communities.
