What happens behind closed doors isn’t always what it seems.

Domestic violence can include physical abuse, threats, intimidation, controlling behavior, financial abuse and isolation. It can affect people in every kind of neighborhood and every kind of relationship.

This October, we’re joining communities across the country in recognizing Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

If you’re concerned about someone, reach out. Listen without judgment. Let them know they have support.

And if you need help, our officers are here to help you take the next step.

Chew on this: THC can impair your driving ability for as much as 24 hours. So, if you are going for the gummies, don’t go for the wheel.

Plan a sober ride or you will be stopped and charged. Driving high is a DWI.

Fall riding season is here, that means beautiful cool weather for long bike rides on Minnesota roads and trails. But if your bike is electric you need to know if it is legal to use everywhere a bike is allowed.

Remember if the pedals don’t work, the throttle goes over 20 mph, or the motor is larger than 750 watts then it isn’t allowed everywhere a bike can ride and is likely not legal on your local roads.
