Another Red Flag Day, Please do not burn anything!!

High winds and low humidity values will combine to create critical fire weather conditions today, tonight and Friday. Humidity values will not recover much overnight, which means any fires that start will be difficult to control. Southerly winds will continue for a few more hours, with winds then shifting to the west this evening, lasting into Friday.

05/14/2026

Dry fuels (grasses), low humidity and strong gusty winds will create conditions where fires can escape control more easily and be difficult to contain into evening. Exercise caution if using outdoor equipment, and avoid burning during this time. Critical fire weather conditions will likely exist on Friday.

05/13/2026

Today, Wednesday, is your one day with not a lot of wind. Sunny and warm today. Increasing clouds tonight into Thursday with a chance for a few showers Thursday. South to southeast winds get strong by Thursday morning in the 25-40 mph range with some gusts to 50 mph. Strong west winds on Friday with gusts 40-50 mph. High fire danger conditions both days, especially Friday.
