The Cabin

The Cabin In the family since 1977 Set back from the sandy shores of Nancy Lake, there is a little cabin in the woods.

Within its walls have gathered families, friends, dogs and deer heads. Beneath its roof have slept hunters, anglers, swimmers, skiers, and pickers. Upon its floor have mothers paced with their babies, dogs clickety clacked, and even a mouse or two tippy toed. Under its floors have its guests remained safe in storms. From its eaves hummingbirds have fed and spiders have webbed. 34 years of memories have been made here.

Deer hunters are reportedly starved for venison this weekend except for Jason. I also heard it was the first snow, at just under a foot? It was 70 here in Oklahoma. I'm just sayin'.

Fritz Schroeder : Five of us had over 80 crappies in the live box after three days of fishing and when it came time to leave on Sunday no one wanted to take any home so we let them all go! Fun catching though despite the high winds and cool weather.
